Geoff's amazing meal.

 We just returned from a wonderful Sunday lunch at the Cafe Lucia. This was our second time eating at Cafe Lucia. The first time was breakfast (which was great). Today we enjoyed lunch.

One of the main reasons I love this place is that it is located directly across the street from the cute park of the same name (Park Lucia). We were able to take the one table directly in front of the window. From  there we had a perfect view of the park and all of the festivities taking place there. On Sundays the park is filled with venders, antiques, live music and dancing.
Once again, we escaped the heat and humidity of Merida and enjoyed the view from our pleasant air conditioned table.

Today was extra special because our waiter, Jose,  was wonderfully friendly and helpful. He took the time to allow me to practice my Spanish. (that was so much fun and so appreciated) He made the visit memorable.
