Not sure what to say except this was my favorite cafe in BHAM during college and during my3 years living there after teaching. The cafe shares a space with Fairhaven Bookstore so the fact that I could indulge in two of my favorite pastimes was a plus...smelling coffee, molasses cookies, and print (text) -a book lover knows the sweet aroma of books=a piece of heaven. My favorite dishes included a garden salad with one of my favorite all-time dressing fat-free italianartichoke dressing ( i think i ordered the salad just for the dressing), Mexican corn and bean soup, and molasses cookies the size of a small serving plate! :-) Thank you so much Jennifer. That was perfect! We love getting other people's favorite cafes! You're the best! Next time you're home, stop in and take a photo, we'd love to display it here. Many Thanks  |
